Doubled Minigrip’s ROAS

The Challenge

MiniGrip didn’t find success for a while after launching their flagship product. Not only were they unsure of their messaging and positioning, they also didn’t know how to best leverage paid media platforms and how to determine budget allocation across those platforms.

MiniGrip needed a strategic marketing partner to help them realize their true potential.

The Solution

Firstly, we helped make MiniGrip’s messaging more inclusive and universal by focusing on multiple use cases and using more inspiring and empowering wording.

Secondly, we created a system of measuring MiniGrip’s revenue from both Shopify as well as Amazon to determine overall and platform-specific budgets on a daily basis to maximize profits. We operate under a mandate that takes budget adjustments off the MiniGrip team’s plate so they can focus on running their business while we get our hands dirty in the ad accounts.

Thirdly, we implemented branded search campaigns on their secondary channels, Amazon & Google, to ensure that we fully capture branded searches that were being previously lost to the competition.

Fourthly, we implemented a CRO program that’s empowered us all with valuable knowledge in terms of how their target audience thinks and acts which has not only guided us on ad strategy, but also on website development and changes to the actual product.

Lastly, we went beyond the scope of the project to leverage our development abilities to improve their Shopify site and run split tests.

Amazon Ads

Initially, the competitors were taking our branded traffic left and right. We put a stop to that right away. Since then, we’ve expanded the branded campaigns and optimized the bidding to maximize profitability. What was previously bleeding sales to the competition ended up netting almost 5 figures of revenue in just a few months.

Facebook

We completely restructured MiniGrip’s Facebook advertising account by creating a custom marketing funnel that covers both their top of funnel and middle of funnel audiences.

We systemized the way that ads are tested. Rather than throwing everything at the wall and hoping that something sticks, we formulate, test, then either accept or reject a series of hypotheses.

Our scientific approach has resulted in an incredible 21x increase in revenue for the company from the Facebook ads platform.

Results

In only three months, we doubled Minigrip’s ROAS while also aggressively scaling the budget.

We managed to increase Minigrip’s overall revenue by a whopping 29x in just 3 months.
